Joonas has founded and developed several acclaimed restaurants, received the title of Best Chef of the Year, and seen his establishments recommended by the Michelin Guide.

The Bocuse d’Or Europe is more than just a competition for me—it is a lifelong dream. For years, I have aspired to take part, but I knew that the right moment had not yet come. Now, with the experience, skills, and determination I have gained, I feel ready to represent Estonia on this prestigious stage.
My goal is not only to compete, but to bring pride and honor to my homeland. This opportunity is about more than winning; it is about showcasing Estonian culinary identity, our traditions, and our passion for excellence. I am motivated to give my best, to stand proudly as a representative of my country, and to share our story through my craft.
